Purpose of Participating Membership
While membership at Crossroads is not necessary for a person to be a member of God’s Kingdom, Crossroads membership is open to those Christians who adhere to the philosophy of ministry as set forth in the Participating Membership Manual of Crossroads Community Cathedral.
Members give of their time, talent and finances, and actively work together in promoting the work of the Kingdom under the direction of the Senior Pastor, and the God-appointed leadership of Crossroads.
We are so glad that you are interested in becoming a Participating Member! The Participating Membership process is designed to do 2 things:
- To share with you what Crossroads believes, how we operate as a church and how you can be a part of our mission.
- To help you evaluate your own walk with God and determine next steps to continue your growth as a follower of God.
We offer two options to help you pursue membership:
- Complete the Participating Membership Class. This class is offered multiple times each year. You can enroll in the class during our tri-annual small group and class registration. Participating Membership classes are also announced in our weekly e-newsletter so watch for the announcement for the next class. Be sure to subscribe to our weekly e-newsletter.
- Complete a self-study. You can purchase the Participating Membership Self-Study Handbook online by clicking here and you can complete the Membership form by clicking here.
Once you have completed the class or the self-study, contact Community Care at or at 860.895.1231 ext. 627 to set up a confirmation interview. It is that easy!
